Youth Remembrance Contests

Cash prizes, and first place winners move up to Legion Zone level, and possibly to District or Provincial levels! Contact your school or local Legion Branch now for details on how to enter the Legion’s Posters, poems, and essay contests.

Fostering Remembrance is a part of everything we do. Through The Royal Canadian Legion’s longstanding annual Poster and Literary Contests, Canadian school children honour Canada’s Veterans through creative art and writing, and help perpetuate Remembrance.

Fundraising & Support

We are looking for 5 volunteers on Friday November 19th at 2pm to help peel vegetables for the “Saturday Night Newfie Dinner“… We also need 3 or 4 volunteers on Saturday night 6pm to help plate dinner and handle dishes and other in kitchen help.

Good news! You don’t have to be a member to volunteer!

By committing one hour, two hours or even more, standing at one of the participating Stores in Bradford with a poppy tray, you can give community-minded people the opportunity to donate to the Poppy Fund. The Poppy Fund is our means of support to the Veterans and Youth of our Community.
